UprightAfter is Not Physical Therapy

UprightAfter is a structured movement compliance program designed to help adults maintain general movement and mobility after discharge from physical therapy. It is not a physical therapy service, a rehabilitation program, or a clinical care platform.

UprightAfter does not provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, or any other licensed healthcare service. No licensed physical therapist supervises your use of this program.

Not Medical Advice

Nothing on this website or within the UprightAfter program constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Do not use this program as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or accessed through UprightAfter.

Consult Your Healthcare Provider

Always consult your physician, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program - including UprightAfter. This is especially important if you:

  • Have recently had surgery, an injury, or a medical procedure
  • Have a chronic condition such as heart disease, diabetes, or osteoporosis
  • Are currently experiencing pain, swelling, or limited mobility
  • Have been advised by a healthcare provider to limit physical activity
  • Are pregnant or have recently given birth
If your physical therapist has given you a specific home exercise program, continue following their guidance. UprightAfter is a supplemental compliance tool - not a replacement for a clinician-prescribed program.

Pain & Injury

Exercise involves inherent risk of injury. By using UprightAfter, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

If at any point during your use of the UprightAfter program you experience:

  • Sharp, sudden, or severe pain
  • Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or loss of balance
  • Numbness or tingling in your arms or legs
  • Unusual shortness of breath

Stop immediately and contact your healthcare provider or call emergency services.

Individual Results

Results from the UprightAfter program will vary from person to person. We make no guarantees or warranties regarding specific health outcomes, improvements in strength, balance, mobility, or any other physical measure.

The program is designed to support consistency and structured movement - not to treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UprightAfter and its founder shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of this program or reliance on any content provided through the platform.

Your use of UprightAfter is entirely at your own risk.
